Shooting ability matters, of course. But scoring opportunities are generated by good passing, and so far this year, the Flames have been passing the puck like it is a hand grenade.
They haven't lost their skill, they are just struggling to get going.

I'm in the "I'm not sold on Mangiapane" camp, he was lucky enough to have had a great season and then have a contract due at the right time. Pretty ####ty season so far, more of a liability than asset.
