Flames attempted 80 shots at the Oilers net and they had 26 the problem I have is they are shooting and not getting any traffic or sticks in front of net and Goalies are seeing the shots, goal posts that's bad luck.
two missed calls by refs on them late could have been a difference and Mangiapane penalty was just stupid on his part and in a game like that turned out to be the difference

Regardless of where they are coming from or the "high danger" stat I am a huge fan of shots on net, bring it. The posts will turn into goals and they are working traffic in front, the 5 on 5 shut down of that offense is the big stat for me. All that team has is a big time power play and a junior goalie on a tear. You keep hammering any tender with shots and you will win 8 times out of 10.
