But if we have any interest in staying on topic, I’m sure both of you are capable of understanding the point. If you rear end a stopped vehicle on the highway, regardless of the conditions, it’s your fault. If you couldn’t see, you should’ve gone slower. If you hit ice, you should’ve gone slower. This is simple stuff, and while “if a deer jumps from a forrest, is anybody around to hit it?” is an interesting point of view, it’s not relevant, and I doubt a police officer would entertain your philosophical ramblings.

You brought up the 100% argument not me. And we are on topic. I mean, you have never been through a weather event when driving? Semi’s get blown over during wind events, totally avoidable. Avalanche, mudslide? Should have drove slower lol.
