Even though I have Markstrom in fantasy (god knows why), I hope we absolutely rock them tonight.

Thought this was a misprint, but it’s not. Feels like ages since a 730 home start

Flames have a better offense, better defense, and superior PK. But scoring 12 goals in two games against the Sharks might inflate that that ES offense like wearing 3" platform shoes to make one reach the high requirement for an amusement rollercoaster ride.

On the bright side, our PK has improve of late. In the past 5 games, they're 5/24, or 79.2% efficiency. The Ducks would be ranked 16th with that PK eff.

How the Ducks can win ====

1. Carry good play from 1st period to all 3 periods.
2. Induce a lot of PP opp's. The Flames get penalized more than us.
3. McTavish has a multi-point game.

As for being a minus 46 windchill, I have been in weather like that in Manitoba, and that was really cold despite four layers of clothing and the heaviest Canada Goose jacket I could find. I don't think that there is anything that really makes minus 46 tolerable. But the good news was that it seemed positively balmy when we got to Winnipeg and it was 17 above, so I guess it is all relative.

It's crazy how many good goaltending performances have been wasted in Anaheim the last 4 years. Then later Flames execute a set play pick, an obvious pick off a faceoff to get the tying goal. Somehow thats not a penalty even though it resulted in a wide open situation. No way that should have been a goal, should've been Calgary penalty. But nice to know that the Flames practice setplays with infractions. Nicer if any were called.

Flames lose anyway but annoucer says "To flames fans this might feel like a loss but its not a loss its a tie game" They actually said this verbatim. But we know flames fans gobble up any tripe. If anybody is even watching.

This team is a bottom 10 non playoff team. Convince me otherwise.

They follow up one of there best games of the season against one of the best teams in the west, with this. Wow

If we miss the playoffs, we can look back at this stretch of dropping 6 points against St.Louis, Nashville, Anaheim and Vancouver as the reason why.
