Yeah, we are. Go read a different thread if you weren't prepared to read about weather in the weather thread.
Sliver seems to think that existence in this climate is binary. You're either outside with a Canada Goose jacket and long johns, or you're inside wearing regular, everyday slacks. There are, however a lot of jobs and reasons to go outside and then inside, for periods of time that involve stripping layers, and then putting them back on. But that doesn't matter to someone that doesn't think things from any other vantage point than his own.
Even just thinking of a job such as police, EMS, or firefighter, how about spending great portions of the day inside a car, truck, or ambulance, only to be outside for two hours. Are you going to wear three or four layers all day long to hedge that?
