You couldn't pay me to fly at Christmas. Flights are expensive, the weather is always a potential factor, airline staff are more likely to call in sick, and there are never any available seats on other flights should your flight be canceled because every flight is sold out. You're stuck.

I understand people want to see their family over Xmas but the stress of it all seems like torture to me.
