Goal scoring looks to be up this year. The Flames were a top 5ish scoring team last season and this year they’re 20 something, big difference. Also, 13-28-19 played the right way. They scored while checking and defending and barely gave up any goals.
This current team is so desperate to score these days they press almost too much and give up big scoring chances the other way which ends up in the back of their net more often then not. It’s a byproduct of not scoring, take risks, make mistakes, goal against. Feel like we’ve seen that a lot especially recently.
