According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cavill is attached to star in and executive produce a new series based on Warhammer 40K, which is currently in the works at Amazon. THR reports that Amazon is currently in "final talks" to acquire the rights to the game from owner Games Workshop following a competitive bidding war. This is huge. Warhammer has a massive following world wide and has never been adapted to the big or small screen. Cavill is a huge fan and advocate for the game, talking and posting about his miniature collection on a variety of platforms. Set to star and produce with a personal message from his Instagram promising fans he will be staying true to the source material (obvious shot at The Witcher show runners) and is excited about the partnership to bring this to life.
