There isn't some internal conspiracy going on to keep these players down. They are among the best in the AHL and hitting the career arc where its soon going to be now or never. Losing Lucic, Lewis and Ritchie next season is going to open up a lot of dough and room on the roster.

I think Pelletier is currently ready based on his AHL production. He just needs to be given some time to get used to the NHL once called up. But I think the bigger issue is that based on history, the Flames will probably hire some older FAs this coming offseason to fill out the roster rather than giving younger players a chance.
