Change of pace from what? Neither player was even close to being ready until this season and they are certainly going to be ready soon.
There isn't some internal conspiracy going on to keep these players down. They are among the best in the AHL and hitting the career arc where its soon going to be now or never. Losing Lucic, Lewis and Ritchie next season is going to open up a lot of dough and room on the roster.
