I used to be able to go to The Bay and get a decent respectable suit. Now, every single thing in that store is designed for a 5'7" man with a 28 inch waist. Those are my measurements exactly. Burly is my preferred description as well.
I actually wear suits quite a bit for work and I just have to get them made to measure. It’s too hard to find stuff in a 48 now!
