I know that we blow through statistics quickly, but I wanted to point out what these 2 stats taken together show. So skinner is saving slightly better than 9 shots in 10. Decent enough. But his GAA is over 3 meaning that he’s seeing over 30 shots every single time he straps on the pads. Knowing the oilers defence, those aren’t peripheral low risk shots. Basically, skinner is standing on his head every night and they still have to score 4 goals every night. No wonder the tenderness is being feted as the new best 4th oiler.
