I'd honestly just take an uptick in 5 on 5 production from Huberdeau. He's currently tied with Brett Ritchie for 10th place on the team in 5 on 5 points right now which isn't ideal, especially considering their gargantuan differences in minutes played. Most of his production has been on the PP, which while important, isn't what we expect from him. He's a superstar, not a PP specialist.
I think you're right though, I haven't seen many games this season where Huberdeau looks like he's about to put the team on his back. He sort of just looks like one of the guys which would be fine if you were a 4th liner making close to league min, but obviously that is not what Huberdeau is paid to be.
