Not seeing the first part here which is fine with me. I did expect he would have more prominent role in gaining the zone and maintaining possession though. This team doesn't have a ton of puck carriers.
As far as production, he did seem to be good for 0.5 points a game in FLA. I would take something close to that.

The entire Panthers style of play outside of a few players like Barkov was high risk/high reward. He wasn't unique in that regard.
I do see him jumping up in the rush more lately, and it's likely that he was learning the system and perfecting his own end before Darryl would give him the rope to do that. He will start taking more risks, and yes, he will make some mistakes by doing that along the way. He's still incredibly good at denying entry and exiting his zone quickly. He's only going to get better from here.
I think that in this system he could produce somewhere between 35-50 points. I wouldn't expect a whole lot more than that, but that's still pretty good.
