"Tax the Rich" sounds great, but thats just a buzzword, thats not a plan.
And at some point, especially now with inflation and interest rates rising just 'borrowing' the money is going to create a ballooning debt-service problem that is going to come home to roost at some point.
I'm all for Public services, they are an important element to the fabric of our society and country but we have to have a realistic fiscal framework in order to make it sustainable.
Thats all I really ask. Because at the end of the day its not the erosion of services that we have to worry about, if you make a system fiscally untenable then its not erosion you need to worry about, its complete systemic collapse.
