He had the red carpet rolled out to him by the organization and the fans. He had plenty of support to pump his confidence up. He just hasn't turned up as expected yet. Everyone is still hoping that he will. Nobody is cheering for him to bomb.

I understand that and I agree with you. I wonder if he is not mentally that tough. First he got traded and then he was excpected to save this franchise. Maybe if he was a no-one and didnt have huge expectations from fans and the media, maybe he would be tearing it rn
