it was incredibly convenient and incredibly creepy when I first used our Wegmans grocery store app for delivery. Logging in with the loyalty account we use at the store, it had all my frequent items ordered and ready to pick. Prices are jacked a bit, but still worth it for not spending an hour out of a busy day with work and getting kids to and from everything.
I don't know what it's like in Calgary, but I regularly get my order within 30 minutes of ordering from a store that is a 12 min drive. I couldn't go to the store, shop, check out and get home that quickly. The shoppers have got a lot better at picking out produce too, like they are competitive about picking the best produce. They'll text me that something all looks like crap and asking if I want something else, or ask me if I want yellow or green bananas.
We'll still go to the store when we have time, but on busy days, it's amazing! It's actually cut down almost to zero delivery from restaurants which was usually our go to on busy days.
