Confused about this. Sarcasm? Turkey is run by a dictator who's primary goal is to turn back the clock on Turkey and make the country a traditionalist and ethnically homogenous country. Erdogan runs a right wing party that strangles out the right.
Turkey's issues have a lot more to do with incompetence. They are continuing to lower their interest rate despite everyone telling them to do the opposite.
