If I'm up by a bunch in the forth, I'll empty the bench, and my playbook goes to about 6 plays, 4 runs in the middle with low risk, 1 screen and 1 pass with short and mid routes.

Its boring for the guys coming off the bench but it is what it is.

During the playoffs this year, and this might be funny . . . or not.

We jumped to a 32 point lead in the first half. When I was talking to the officials at the half one of them said "You know, if you get up by 35 we go to run time and don't stop the clock". And I looked at him and said "Coming right up". On the first drive we scored. And then I pretty much ran the ball in the middle and told the QB to milk the clock.
Yeah, I'm someone who always prefers an aggressive philosophy. I've been fortunate that I cheer for a team whose owner loves aggressive, offensive football. The only exception to this is when the other team is clearly more talented than yours and you want to limit their offensive possessions. Even then, I still want my team going for it on 4th and 1 almost anytime they're in the opposing team's half.
