I can't really speak to the quality of the materials as I'm not really sure about that... but regardless, what I meant was that I don't think it's the best at any specific thing, or for any specific purpose, particularly not if you live in Calgary. No matter what the weather is like outside or what you intend to do in it there is an objectively better option that probably costs less money than any jacket that CG sells... again, unless you just happen to prefer how your CG jacket looks to those alternatives. For me, there are many many options that I prefer the look of for most of the weather we get, and once you get into the territory where it's so cold, windy and miserable that you need your weather armor, I cease to care much at all about looks and am all about the functionality.
