Sure I could. I've tried them on before and I've tried on the competitors like the moose knuckles (I agree, terrible name) and if I bought one it just wouldn't get worn here. Between all my Patagonia, Outdoor Research, North Face, Helly Hansen, Mountain Hardwear, Arcteryx, Armada, Oakley and other stuff, I have like 10-15 good outdoor jackets including 5 sets of ski outerwear for various temperatures and conditions / precipitation. I've tried it all - I am the type of person who likes skiing in -25 because no one else is on the hill. There is simply no circumstance I can think of where if I had a CG Langford that I'd want to wear it in preference to a North Face Diameter, for example, and there are other jackets that are comparable to that. For the people who get a CG Expedition for extreme cold weather, that's almost unwearable in Chinooks, but even in -30 in blowing snow you'd be better off with a MH Absolute Zero parka in the sense that it's warmer without being as heavy and has better storage.
90% of the time the most comfortable thing you can wear in Calgary is a medium fill insulated hoody like the Cerium or one of its many competitors.
