You'd think they dominated BUF, based on that, not get blown out 9-4 and outshot 30-24. Not exactly a resounding endorsement of the stat

17 minutes into the game it was 6-0 Sabres and the xGF was 83.6% Sabres.
Columbus goalies also let in 6.22 goals
above expected, which is the worst goaltending performance I think I've ever seen.
Total xGF in the game ended up being 52/48 Columbus, with the Sabres goalie letting in 1 extra and the BJ goalies letting in 6 extra... lol
