It probably doesn't change much if she caucuses with the Democrats. Probably better to just ignore her attention seeking moves.
It does make for a complicated election though. Does anyone, anywhere on the political spectrum like her? Do Democrats run someone or does that just give an easy win to the Republican? I don't see her really having a chance as an independent vs a halfway decent republican, or having any chance against candidates from both parties. It doesn't change much for now, but sure screws the Democrats out of that seat in 2024.
I could get behind a good independent centrist who was sincerely standing up for what's best for her state, but she's not even really that. She just seems all about herself and leveraging a tight senate for her own good.
