Darryl loves Gio.
He called him the best dman on the team and then proceeded to play him up the line up above Tanev, Andersson, Hanifin and etc regularly earning 25-26 minutes per night.
I agree that the Flames D is doing just fine without Gio, but the extra cap savings would be a nice luxury to have.
