I have a puffer jacket that handles -30 very comfortably with just a t-shirt underneath (will throw a sweater on if it’s super biting wind) and I’m also wearing it today, and I wear it in the mall, etc. I just unzip if it gets too warm.
Some people might not feel they “need” a super warm jacket and might come up with excuses for why they don’t (can’t wear it in the mall! the weather changes so fast! etc etc) but it’s like… you’re an adult wearing a jacket, you’ll figure it out.
