Oh man, you could never wear one downhill skiing. You'd be way too hot. It doesn't have pit zips or vents of any sort. For skiing, you open your vents on the way down because you get hot, and then zip them up for the chairlift up. You'd die on the hill in a CG if you were doing moguls or a technical tree run.

They're really for people who want/need to be outside in the super cold, but are committing to not moving around much. Holding a construction sign is actually a really good use case for a CG.
