We’re in Calgary. It went from -20 to 1 one day. Also the people wearing those things practically take up two seats on the bus. The whole waiting for the bus thing is one point, cause the bus and trains and generally well-heated, especially since transit also with the heat generated by your fellow passengers, you’re going to be sweaty.
The only legit use case is downhill skiing or being one of those construction flag people whose job is to stand around with a stop/slow sign.
