You don't need to defend wanting to be warm regardless of how you grew up. I also grew up poor, wore my sisters hand me down jeans, in the 80's. High waisted jeans do not fit a male the same way. I can recall coming home with nicer boots that I found in the bootroom, because mine were old and cold.


There are no medals for being cold.
