It's weird how CG manages to get all this status as the "best brand" for city winter jackets. It's basically a well-built fashion / status brand. The coats are good, but the value really isn't there and it doesn't even make a ton of sense to wear something that heavy in Calgary where it's so dry. It's just the wrong type of coat for this city.
And if you wanted a heavy, "no cold can touch me" parka there are obviously better options as well as many cheaper options that do the job just as well. It's just a weird way to spend money unless you just happen to like the look of it.
