I don't think the Flames would be putting any pressure on Kylington to come back by a certain point or not come back at all this season, and it would be inappropriate to do so given what's going on with the player. If he wants to come back at any point, they will allow. Whether he is effective or stays in the lineup, that's definitely a question if he is a step behind. But players get injured in game 1 and come back months later all the time, so a drop dead date doesn't seem reasonable to me.
