Best Movie: At this moment I'm wavering between tLAwSZ and ESotSM, but there's others I haven't seen yet...
Worst Movie: Stepford Wives. I'm not even going to waste my time saying why it stinks.
Best Song: Well, as far as popular music goes, Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand was the only one that really impressed me.
Worst Song: I dunno, I heard something off the Celine Dion/Anne Geddes project that was absolutely appallingly bad.
Best sports moment: Game seven against vancouver.
Worst sports moment: Bertuzzigate
Best non-hockey sports moment: the Stamps thwarting Pringle from getting the rushing record in Edmonton, even as they were losing by 30 points.
Momorable News events: The current disaster in the Indian Ocean, the US election, the seemingly open-ended situation in Iraq, Ralph Klein for having a huge majority win that seemed like a minor defeat.
Overall assessment: Personally, a good/bad year. There were personal goals that I failed to accomplish and I don't feel that careerwise, I'm any better off than I was last year, or three years ago for that matter. On the upside, I got engaged, finally popping the question to my girlfriend of four years.
What to look forward to in 2005: Lots of things. A wedding, firstly. Quitting my job, finishing my novel, travelling to Portugal, possibly some kayak trips. Helping my fiancee launch her expanded business enterprise. Getting a dog. Man, that sounds like a good year!
