Like Gaudreau, Huberdeau is the guy that creates, while Lindholm and Toffoli are finishers. Since his linemates aren't guys that can just create offense on their own, the whole line is much less effective.
I know everyone thinks we need a Duclaire type of player on the opposite wing, but I think we might be better served with another effective playmaker instead.

I dunno, his last two linemates were Bennett and Duclair. Duclair would speed down the wing, but not create much else. Bennett goes to the net, and digs in the corners sometimes.
He did have a lot of success with Barkov who has equivalent vision and passing ability, but he also had success away from him.
