Boy at one stage I really though the Canuck's had a good re-tool going.
Pettersson/Horvat up the middle, dynamic dman in Hughes, some scoring wingers to compliment and a #1 goalie in Demko.
It's all gone very wrong. I can't figure out what their play is with Horvat, who seems like their best overall player, that they are going to walk to UFA.
They made the same mistake other Canadian teams have (including the Flames) trying to kick open their contending window too early.
I don't like the Canucks but Boeser seems like a good guy who has had a very rough couple years on and off the ice. Was kinda happy to see hims core last night and if he had potted the OT winner on that chance, it would have been pretty cool.
