Yeah, if you don't make any claims about what the drug does, it's much easier to get it on the air.

I don't know if there's an outright ban on advertising drugs with medical claims, it likely just means the ad has to be reviewed and approved by a regulatory body before it can air, and also requires extensive disclaimers which can take up almost the entire length of the ad. It's just much easier to do the generic "ask your doctor" ad that doesn't make any claims.

It also likely helps that the rules in the US are looser, so most viewers have likely seen ads with more details on US tv, so they know what Ozempic is for.
