I really hate to make this parallel, but it's reminiscent of the tail end of 2017-18 with Gully at the helm.

What do we need IMO?

- line combinations that are less homogenous. Mangiapane and Dube are redundant. Huberdeau and Toffoli are redundant. The whole fourth line is a mess when not cycling.

- More of a green light for the defense to jump into the play. Hanifin and Andersson have been anemic offensively, they get shots through from the point but rarely join the rush.

Give Huberdeau a 'Duclair' (Matty Phillips) and let Dube pull up the fourth line. Mangiapane has chemistry with Backlund and Coleman. And the defense will play more aggressively if we roll with Vladar for a while, since he is making saves.
