I find watching this series super bizarre. I was - am - in the same group of friends as Sara and Tegan. I knew them quite well in high school and remained acquaintances with them throughout my twenties. So I know who most of the people portrayed are supposed to be, although I think some are sort of amalgams of a couple different people, or loose representations.

It's sort of creepy watching my friend-group streamed on Amazon. I was too tangential a friend to appear on the series (I hope!) but yeah - some of those people were my closest friends in high school.
