trading Tkachuk for futures only and going full tilt at bedard/michkov would've been better than this

then we could've seen 2-3 wranglers players with regular rotations too and could enjoy a preview of the future

this overspending on vets , icing a low skill team and being 9-9-3 and in no mans land is much worse than the alternative , quite honestly
