Most of you heard it growing up, right? Is it Canadian, just Albertan?
About 20-25 years ago when referring to one of our unusually warm winters, I used the term "brown Christmas" and some guy was like "what the HELL does that mean?!" Another common phrase I thought everybody knew, or at least was self-explanatory.
