So while this hasn't been the typical defensively-dominant Darryl Sutter Flames we're used it, they've been more than adequate in front of Markstrom.
What a horrible goalie he's been so far. 6'6" 207lbs my ass. Guy is made of air and looks tiny in the net.
It's frustrating because we know he can be a Vezina-calibre goalie and we're not going deep in the Playoffs without him, but right now he's even making Jack Campbell look pretty good.
The Edmonton series must've truly effed him up mentally.

He straight up looks like end-career Hiller this year. I have no idea what the hell happened to Markstrom between last year and now, but he's an entirely different player. As you say it's horrible because we know how good he can be. I don't personally think he's mentally right, and he doesn't have an ounce of confidence, but if that's the case get Vladar in for some extra games and give Markstrom a few softer opponents to
maybe rebuild the mental side of his game.
