It just looks like the team is pretty much checked out, the core guys know they are here for the long haul, and the coach won’t be. So, they’ll just go through the motions and wait it out.
I don’t honestly see a change coming this year, but if they miss the playoffs, you would have to think Sutter will be gone.

The system is the only thing keeping this team getting points while they are getting sub .900 goaltending and the new guys figure it out.
In 2013-14 when the Kings won the cup he promoted Tofolli and Pearson to the main club halfway through the season which kick started more offence. He is a patient coach but will make changes when necessary. He doesn't seem to live and die based off the last game like many fans do.
