Is the only thing to do to shrug and pretend like it's no big deal? Maybe the answer is yes. But in that case I would have to ask what the point of being a fan if winning/losing means so little?

The Flames (contender or not) have the 2nd place Vezina goaltender from last season.
That's a fact.
He's off to a tough start ... fact.
He seems to be getting better ... seems to be a fact.
But it's an overreaction to make statements like the above.
