What about the Chargers scoring too early? They threw on first and second down with under 2 minutes left from the 4. They got a bit lucky that Herbert caught the one knocked down pass to burn a time out for K.C. But 1:46 and two timeouts is too much time for 80% of the teams in this league let alone a top tier one.
I guess they did get the ball back with 30 seconds on 3 time outs only needing a field goal.
After the Allen play the first down, Eckeler getting that first down to put them on the 4 with two minutes left put them in a bad situation...he probably should have stopped at 8 yards and sat down in hindsight so they could run for an easy first down after that and burn more clock.
