Herdman is a great manager...but I feel like he's had great/lucky timing too.
Took over the women's team right when they had an influx of talent.
And then took over the men's team, had some struggles, but lasted long enough to see them get an influx of talent.
He's added the structure and program required to have that success, but some great timing for him too.
