As for people ripping on him in the playoffs, it's not like Huberdeau or Weegar had great playoffs last year. Tkachuk was actually reasonable productive. Being a good playoff performer tends to come with age and experience, and he is only 24. Early returns for the playoffs haven't been bad all things considered.

Tkachuk had 4 goals all playoffs and they came in 2 games we played 11 games. He was invisible for the rest of it, the only other shift I remember was in Game 1 when they pinned the Stars to kill the clock to win the game.
Huberdeau and Weegar played one of the best goalies in the NHL and the reigning champs.
