At the end of the day though, they dont give a rat's ass about the club or the supporters, they care about efficiently moving their money.
The club is just a vehicle. The means to an end.
As long as the supporters dont light the place on fire the owners likely couldnt care less.
Actually...they might be happy if the supporters lit St. James' on fire because other than running it through Sports teams, major construction projects are fantastic vehicles to move money around and then at the end you own a highly valued asset that you can cleanly borrow against.
The only drawback is that the permitting tends to be a bitch.
