I suppose it was inevitable that in the age of email and texts that people would forget how voicemails operate.

But....in a business setting, they're important. Granted, I'm not in a position where voicemails are time critical or anything, but I get at least a few of these a week:

"Hey Locke its me, I have a question for you, call me back!"

Uh huh. Who are you? Whats your name? Whats your phone number? Nature of the question? Like give me something here.
"Who the #### are you?" is gear grinder 1 for phone messages for me.
Gear grinder 2 is, "I spoke to someone in your office and it should be sorted now."

It usually repeats to gear grinder 1 of Who the #### are you? and I'm not the person you spoke with, why the #### are you miffed I'm not telepathic and I have to ask for a moment to read the notes on the file to get caught up to speed?

It got way worse during the pandemic.
