And given the many delays (mostly self-inflicted) and the possibility that there might not be enough money to cross the Bow, there's little political benefit to "funding" the NC extension when it probably won't be built for another 15-20 years, while a small extension to the Blue Line and the people mover to the airport could probably be built and opened before Green Line Stage 1 is even finished.
