Can confirm this. I didn't know there would be such a difference. I just bought a youth away jersey customized with Kadri 91 from NHL.com. The jersey that arrived had tiny vinyl letters ironed on and not in the official font or correct colour. The 91 was made of the same cheap vinyl and also not in the correct Flames font.
I complained about it and they said no returns on custom orders. I complained a lot more and they agreed to a full refund. Shockingly bad quality for a 200 dollar jersey.
