In spite of the results, we have actually seen this all season. As far as I can recall, the Flames have had the lead in EVERY game except one, and they have looked like they could have or should have won every game except for maybe two. That's pretty ridiculous, especially considering the strenght of schedule, and the injuries they have dealt with this early.
