Ronaldo wanted to move. United wanted him for the season.
Nonetheless they weren't resistant to letting him move.
No one wanted him with the main barrier being his wages.
Ronaldo wasn't willing to take a pay cut which was the main barrier to him moving.
So because he wasn't willing to take a pay cut to facilitate a move he wanted you believe United should have stepped in to pay a portion of his wages even though they wanted to keep him?
Why do you believe United should have paid a chunk of his wages when CR could simply have taken less?

Who knows if it's true but the were rumors that Ronaldo was willing to take a 30% pay cut, sure he should have just taken a 50% pay cut but he didn't. I'm not saying Ronaldo is without blame either, he's been pouty and disengaged all season which only makes it harder for him to move now.
My entire point is this outcome right now of having whiney Ronaldo tearing the club down from within was predictable.
And that they should have tried harder to help facilitate a move, even if they had to eat 100k of his wages.
